Youth Shooters
Youth Shooters

Because of a very generous grant from the Friend's of the NRA, the Northstar Sportsmens Club will once again sponsor all youth shooters, 18yrs old (still in school) and younger, to a round of trap and a box of ammo. The league will run 10 weeks and begin each night at 6:00pm sharp.
To those that participated in last year's youth trap shooting program, will have an opportunity to also participate in a newly forming skeet league. As with trap, the targets and ammo will be provided. To participate, you still must shoot the trap shooting program. The skeet league will be limited to 10 shooters (two squads).
The youth league will begin on June 6th, at 6:00pm. As always, the club offers a clay target shooting class for all of the youth to run concurrent with the league. This would be an absolutely great way to introduce your son, daughter, grandson, granddaughter, or even the neighborhood kid to a little more disciplined approach to the clay target games. Each week we will cover a different topic involving the clay games, beginning with the safe handling of a firearm, to the fundamentals of shooting the games.
An outline of this year's program will be available at the clubhouse and the club's website. A parent's permission form must be completed and brought along to the first night.
